Soccer Recap: Hermitage Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Parkers Chapel

There's no place like home for Hermitage, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Parkers Chapel Trojans on Monday as the Hermitage Hermits made off with an 8-1 victory. With the Hermits ahead 6-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Parkers Chapel from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Robert Carroll led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win got Hermitage back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hermitage will take on Hamburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkers Chapel, they will square off against Magnolia at 7:00 p.m. on March 10th.
