Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Sands' Fourth in Last Five Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Borden County, Sands was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 34-22 win over the Grady Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Sands is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season. As for Grady, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Sands will venture away from home to take on Loop at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grady, they will welcome Borden County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Borden County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Grady surely won't give up without a fight.
