Baseball Recap: Wittenberg-Birnamwood Comes Up Short

Wittenberg-Birnamwood and Kewaunee squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Wittenberg-Birnamwood had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Storm by a score of 6-5.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood's loss dropped their record down to 27-3. As for Kewaunee, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kewaunee, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Chilton on the 10th.
