Baseball Recap: Bear Lake Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

Bear Lake came out on top against Benzie Central on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Lakers blew past the Huskies 10-1. The Lakers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

Bear Lake has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Benzie Central, they now have a losing record of 7-8-1.

Looking ahead, Bear Lake will take on Buckley at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Benzie Central, they will challenge Onekama at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
