Baseball Recap: Linn Takes a Loss

Linn lost against Montgomery County back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Linn fell 6-1 to Montgomery County. Linn has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Linn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Kubiak, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that Kubiak snagged this season.

Linn's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Montgomery County, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Linn will square off against New Haven at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montgomery County, they will take on Russellville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
