Ballard Memorial's game on Sunday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Marshall County Marshals. This was a revenge game for the Bombers: when they faced off against the Marshals back in March, they had to take a 5-1 defeat.

M Bohde spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on A Alexander, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. T Holman was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Ballard Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Marshall County, their loss dropped their record down to 27-5.

Looking ahead, Ballard Memorial will head out on the road to face off against Crittenden County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marshall County, they will challenge Henderson County at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
