Softball Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Trojans vs. South Rowan Raiders
It was a good run, but Northwest Cabarrus unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the South Rowan Raiders. Northwest Cabarrus was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as South Rowan apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played last Friday.
Northwest Cabarrus' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7. As for South Rowan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11-1.
Northwest Cabarrus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Rowan, they will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against East Rowan at 6:30 p.m. South Rowan will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
