Football Recap: Tj Losurdo Leads Lambert's Defense on Friday + How To Watch

Lambert lost against Walton back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Longhorns fell 27-17 to the Raiders.

Lambert didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Tj Losurdo.

Noriega Thompson had a dynamite game For Walton., rushing for 191 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Those 191 rushing yards gave Thompson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Christion Peacock, who threw for 271 yards and one TD.

Lambert's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Walton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Lambert will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cherokee at 7:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Walton, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Roswell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
