Volleyball Recap: De Leon Comes Up Short

De Leon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brownwood Lions.

De Leon's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Brownwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

De Leon will venture away from home to square off against Snyder at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brownwood, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Jim Ned on the 28th.
