Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Ryan Lions vs. Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks

Bishop Ryan hasn't had much luck against Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Bishop Ryan Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks at 1:00 p.m.

Bishop Ryan lost 57-32 to St. John on Monday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood). They walked away with a 67-60 victory over Our Redeemer's Christian two weeks ago. The win was some much needed relief for the Mavericks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Bishop Ryan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Bishop Ryan came out on top in a nail-biter against Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 43-40. Does Bishop Ryan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
