Lawrence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 63-52 to the Island Trees Bulldogs. One positive for the Golden Tornadoes, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Island Trees, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
