Basketball Recap: Lac Courte Oreilles Victorious

Lac Courte Oreilles hadn't done well against South Shore recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles skirted past the South Shore Cardinals 44-41. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 54-38 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Lac Courte Oreilles' victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for South Shore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.

Lac Courte Oreilles wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-31 defeat against Hurley on the 4th. South Shore has also already played their next contest, a 97-56 loss against Bayfield on the 4th.
