Recap: Eastside Early College Panthers vs. San Marcos Academy Bears
Even though the San Marcos Academy Bears scored an imposing 62 points on Friday, the Eastside Early College Panthers still came out on top. Eastside Early College was the clear victor by a 87-62 margin over San Marcos Academy. The win made it back-to-back wins for Eastside Early College.
Jakob Acosta was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 11 steals. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja?Lyen Jones, who scored 23 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Eastside Early College has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for San Marcos Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Eastside Early College will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Travis at 8:00 p.m. San Marcos Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Stephen's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th.
