Basketball Recap: Beckman Takes a Loss

Beckman was the 54-35 winner over San Clemente when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Beckman Patriots fell 58-46 to the San Clemente Tritons on Wednesday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christian Fernandez was his usual excellent self, going 9 for 17 on his way to 28 points and five rebounds for San Clemente. The match was Fernandez's third in a row with at least ten points. John Norman was another key player, putting up eight points and eight boards.

Beckman's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for San Clemente, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Beckman will take on King at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for San Clemente, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mission Viejo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
