Flag Football Game Preview: Freedom Falcons vs. Antioch Panthers + Official Tickets

After each having a week off, the Freedom Falcons and the Antioch Panthers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Freedom hasn't scored more than 12 points for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Freedom took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-10 victory over Pittsburg. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since September 14, 2024.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Antioch's offense. They were dealt a 42-0 defeat at the hands of Heritage last Monday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 559th, while the Patriots are ranked 48th).

Freedom's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Antioch, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Freedom didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Antioch in their previous meeting back in September, but they still walked away with a 12-6 win. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
