Meanwhile, Harnett Central played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 72-16 loss at the hands of Overhills. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-6.

Harnett Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for E.E. Smith, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6.
