Basketball Recap: White Creek Christian Academy Drops Season-High Score on Sugar Hill Christian Academy + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask White Creek Christian Academy). They came out on top against the Sugar Hill Christian Academy Stallions by a score of 81-73 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 72-62 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Leading White Creek Christian Academy to victory were Maximus Whitmire and Benjamin Winters. Whitmire almost dropped a double-double with 24 points and nine assists, while Winters posted 29 points. Whitmire is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in each of the last three games he's played. Colston Wood was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Despite the loss, Sugar Hill Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Christopher Britt, who shot 53% from the field to rack up 37 points along with eight boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Knox Britt, who went 7-for-15 on his way to 18 points and five rebounds.

White Creek Christian Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Sugar Hill Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, White Creek Christian Academy will take on Friendship Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Sugar Hill Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Covenant Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on December 2.
