Football Recap: Wakefield Takes a Loss

If Wakefield was riding high fresh off their 33-12 takedown of Justice two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell 14-10 to the Washington-Liberty Generals on Friday. The Warriors have struggled against the Generals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Judah Connor threw for 264 yards on 25 of 37 attempts. Xavier Winkelmann was his top target, picking up 96 receiving yards.

Wakefield's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Washington-Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
