Soccer Recap: Western Branch Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Great Bridge

Western Branch faced Great Bridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bruins took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Western Branch were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Great Bridge apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Western Branch's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Great Bridge, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
