Saraland won the last time they faced Blount, and things went their way on Friday too. The Saraland Spartans breezed by the Blount Leopards at home to the tune of 59-6. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 56-0.

Saraland wouldn't let Blount keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Saraland can thank Jayden Brock and Antonio Coleman for forcing both of them. Brock's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making a tackle (1.0 for loss).
Saraland pushed their record up to 2-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Blount, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Saraland will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Gulf Shores at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blount, they will welcome Murphy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
