Basketball Recap: Sanderson Takes a Loss

Sanderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Heritage Huskies and fell 61-24. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-14 back in November.

Heritage found their leader in sophomore REAGAN MONDELL-LONG, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was GABRIELLE LOVE, who had eight points.

Sanderson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Heritage, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Sanderson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-21 loss against Millbrook on the 20th. Heritage has also already played their next game, a 60-8 victory against Enloe on the 20th.
