It was a good run, but Frazier unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Waynesburg Central Raiders by a score of 5-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Commodores of the 9-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Frazier's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Waynesburg Central, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Frazier will take on rival Bentworth at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Commodores 2.6, the Bearcats 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Waynesburg Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Brownsville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
