Clinton Central suffers third straight loss on the road

The Clinton Central Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Alexandria-Monroe.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nate Wells, who scored nine points along with six steals. Wells continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cole Davison, who scored 13 points.
Clinton Central bumped their record down to 1-10 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Clinton Central will look to defend their home court on Friday against Rossville at 7:30 p.m. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they will head out on the road to challenge Oak Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Oak Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday.
