Millville won the last time they faced Bucktail and things went their way  on Friday too. The Quakers blew past the Bucks 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Quakers, who have now won five matchups by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Evan Brokenshire was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Brokenshire was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Nathan Benedict was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Curtis Whitmoyer, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
The  win made it two in a row for Millville and  bumps their season record up to 6-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5  runs in those games. As for Bucktail,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Millville will  face off against  rival Neumann Regional Academy  at 4:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bucktail is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Northwest Area  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
