Baseball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carroll can now relate to. They came up short against the Clinton Prairie Gophers on Friday, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Gophers: they've now lost five in a row.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Clinton Prairie, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-6.

As of now, neither Carroll nor the Gophers have any future games scheduled.
