Softball Recap: Lodi Blue Wolves vs. Becton Wildcats
Lodi was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Becton Wildcats by a score of 12-9. For the Blue Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 16-0 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Melody Zuniga made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Leah Durante, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-5. Yaindhi Grullon was another key player, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
