North Baltimore had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Leipsic Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

North Baltimore's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Leipsic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Baltimore will challenge Arlington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Leipsic, they will face off against Miller City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
