Softball Recap: Tigard Comes Up Short

Tigard was the 2-0 winner over Oregon City when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

Tigard's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Oregon City, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tigard is set to take on their familiar foe Tualatin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Oregon City will square off against rival Lake Oswego at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in the Pioneers' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Lakers have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
