Football Recap: Neshaminy Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

With a playoff win on the line, Neshaminy rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 28-21 victory over the Central Bucks West Bucks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 28-18 back in September.

Michael Eckart produced another solid performance rushing for 103 yards and a pair of TDs, while also throwing for 232 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Neshaminy's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise. Carter Clee also helped out as he racked up 101 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Neshaminy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 214 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August.

Neshaminy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Central Bucks West, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4.

Coming up, Neshaminy will challenge Owen J. Roberts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Bucks West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
