Volleyball Recap: Westborough Beats Wachusett Regional for Their Third Straight Win

Westborough waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Westborough never let Wachusett Regional on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-23.

Al Regnier paced Westborough's offense, picking up 15 kills. Regnier got some help from Anvi Arora and her 23 assists. Kathleen O'Reilly controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Westborough's record is now 13-2-1. As for Wachusett Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Coming up, Westborough will challenge Dartmouth at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Wachusett Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
