Emmanuel Christian waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Easley Christian.

Leading Emmanuel Christian to victory were Addyson Matthews and Megan Butler. Matthews had ten digs and three aces, while Butler had 11 digs and seven aces.

They weren't the only good server: Emmanuel Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Emmanuel Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

Emmanuel Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Lowcountry Prep on the 16th. As for Easley Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tabernacle Christian at 6:00 p.m. on September 22.
