Baseball Recap: Browne Takes a Loss

Browne fell victim to West Point and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Browne and nudges their season record down to 9-6. As for West Point, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Browne will face off against Cesar Chavez at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Champions have averaged an impressive 10.3 runs per game this season. As for West Point, they will take on Marana at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
