Basketball Recap: Bartlett Comes Up Short

Bartlett was the 65-46 winner over South Anchorage when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bartlett Golden Bears fell 58-47 to the South Anchorage Wolverines on Thursday. The Golden Bears' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Bartlett's record now sits at 6-11. As for South Anchorage, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bartlett won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Eagle River at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bartlett is facing Eagle River at the right time seeing as Eagle River is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for South Anchorage, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Service at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
