Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Jefferson's offense. They came up short against the Huron Chiefs on Monday, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 back in April.

Jefferson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season. As for Huron, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jefferson will square off against rival Flat Rock at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Huron is set to take on their familiar foe Milan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
