Monticello is a perfect 10-0 against Pinnacle since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Monticello Buckaroo will take on the Pinnacle Panthers at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Monticello and six for Pinnacle.

Monticello is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Monument Valley on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Monticello had to suffer through a 68-20 loss at the hands of Monument Valley. The Buckaroo were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-12.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Pinnacle took on Monument Valley on Friday. Pinnacle was dealt a 72-33 loss at the hands of Monument Valley. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 39 points.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Pinnacle, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.

Monticello skirted past Pinnacle 36-33 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Monticello since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
