            Baseball Recap: Auburn Tigers vs. Bryant Hurricanes        
        
		
        
        
            Auburn and Bryant squared off in some playoff action  on Friday, but Auburn had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of  4-3. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hurricanes earlier this season, when they won  7-3.
  Antwane Daniels made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with three  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Weston Luther, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  run.
Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 19-16. As for Bryant, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-12 record  this season.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Auburn beat Bryant by a score of  7-3 later that day.
