Football Recap: Clear Spring Takes a Loss

Clear Spring extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They took a blow against the Albert Gallatin Colonials, falling 62-27. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blazers of the 41-21 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Albert Gallatin, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Considering they have won three contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

A big part of Albert Gallatin's victory came down to the chemistry between Bronx Jamison and his top target Adam Pegg. Jamison rushed for 117 yards while Pegg gained 137 total yards and five touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Jamison a new career-high in passing yards (93). Another player making a difference was Tee Guesman, who rushed for 65 yards and one TD on only five carries.

Looking ahead, Clear Spring will head out on the road to take on Smithsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Albert Gallatin, they will host Hedgesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colonials will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
