Basketball Game Preview: Coahulla Creek Colts vs. Excel Christian Academy Eagles

The Coahulla Creek Colts will take on the Excel Christian Academy Eagles in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Coahulla Creek and four for Excel Christian Academy.

On Tuesday, Coahulla Creek was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-45 to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe.

Meanwhile, Excel Christian Academy came up short against Dominion Christian on Monday and fell 50-38. The Eagles were down 46-18 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Excel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Coahulla Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
