Football Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon fell victim to Hillsboro/Central Valley and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a hard 16-0 fall against the H-CV Burros. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the H-CV Burros apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hillsboro/Central Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lisbon will face off against rival Sargent County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hillsboro/Central Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg/Finley-Sharon on Friday.
