Basketball Recap: Goshen's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Goshen had lost three straight headed into Tuesday's contest, but Ava Yordy didn't let it get to four. The Goshen RedHawks secured a 25-19 W over the West Noble Chargers on Tuesday thanks in part to Yordy, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds.

Despite the defeat, West Noble had strong showings from Marley Mast, who posted ten points and eight rebounds, and Ella Limerick, who had six points.

Goshen's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for West Noble, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goshen will square off against Wawasee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wawasee will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Goshen surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Noble, they will take on Churubusco at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
