Soccer Game Preview: St. Andrew's vs. Bulloch Academy

The St. Andrew's Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Bulloch Academy Gators at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bulloch Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Andrew's, who comes in off a win.

St. Andrew's proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Westminster Schools of Augusta get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Bulloch Academy came up short against Central Fellowship Christian Academy last Tuesday and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that Bulloch Academy have lost by exactly two goals.

St. Andrew's has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five games. As for Bulloch Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3-1.

St. Andrew's couldn't quite get it done against Bulloch Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
