Lunenburg took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Clinton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Blue Knights came out on top in a nail-biter against the Gaels on Wednesday, sneaking past 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Knights have posted since April 4th.

Lunenburg is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Clinton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.
