Basketball Recap: Van Buren Takes a Loss

Van Buren lost against Katahdin back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Van Buren Crusaders were beaten by the Katahdin Cougars 62-26. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Van Buren's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Katahdin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Van Buren will square off against Easton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Katahdin, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Katahdin Cougars challenge the Fort Fairfield Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
