Football Recap: Naaman Forest Rangers vs. Wylie Pirates
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Naaman Forest). They took down the Wylie Pirates 38-24 on Friday. For the Rangers, this counts as revenge for the 27-24 win the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.
Ja'Ki Robinson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 157 yards and two TDs while picking up 8.7 yards per carry, and also throwing for 94 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. EMMANUEL HAMILTON also helped out as he racked up 115 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Naaman Forest was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 321 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Wylie's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daylon Gordon, who picked up 102 receiving yards, and also rushed for 33 yards and one score. Gordon showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 61 yards.
The victory was the third in a row for Naaman Forest, bringing their record up to 4-1. As for Wylie, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.
