After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverton, Uintah was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Copper Hills Grizzlies 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Utes in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won three in a row.

Uintah wouldn't go down easily and took Copper Hills into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-13, 26-24, 15-25, 15-10.

Abbie Davis had a dynamite game, getting 43 assists and six digs. Those 43 assists gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Rios, who had 14 digs.

Uintah's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Copper Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Uintah has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Millard on the 15th. As for Copper Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Layton on the 14th.
