Recap: Lebanon Yellowjackets vs. Central Bulldogs

The Lebanon Yellowjackets came into Thursday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Central with a sharp 64-44 victory on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Lebanon, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Leading Lebanon to victory were Madison Myers and Bodie Cox. Myers scored 22 points along with seven rebounds, while Cox almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Cox pulled down eight or more rebounds. Mackenzie Perryman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.

Lebanon's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-15. As for Central, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with that loss, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon's road trip will continue as they head out to face Waynesville at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. Lebanon is facing Waynesville at the right time seeing as Waynesville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West Plains at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. West Plains presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Central in Missouri (West Plains is ranked 31st, while Central is ranked 399th).
