Basketball Recap: Sei'mir Roberson and Qwameik Smith Secure Win for Catholic Central

It's playoff time, and Catholic Central had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 70-66 W over the Hudson Falls Tigers on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Catholic Central was led to victory by Qwameik Smith and Sei'Mir Roberson. Smith shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double with 24 points and 12 boards, while Roberson posted 29 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The match was Roberson's 15th in a row with at least 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnavin Sapienza, who had 12 points.

Catholic Central's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Hudson Falls, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-5.

Catholic Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 93-59 defeat against Glens Falls on the 8th. Hudson Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
