Softball Recap: Grandview Greyhounds vs. Prosser Mustangs
Grandview had lost three straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 8-13-2 to make it four. They lost 21-11 to the Prosser Mustangs. The Greyhounds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 14-10.

Brenna Snyder made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Aaliyah Hernandez was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
As for Prosser, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-12-1 and their overall record up to 7-15-1. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
On Prosser's side, Layla Barnhart was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and six unearned) runs off 12 hits. Those eight strikeouts gave Barnhart a new career-high.
