Soccer Recap: Greene County Comes Up Short

Greene County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the Van Meter Bulldogs, falling 10-0.

Greene County's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Van Meter, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greene County will square off against Colo-NESCO at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greene County will be up against Colo-NESCO's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.38 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Van Meter, they will take on Panorama at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Panorama will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Van Meter surely won't give up without a fight.
