Basketball Recap: Manchester Central Sets Scoring Season-High Against Pinkerton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manchester Central). They snuck past the Pinkerton Astros with a 58-52 win on Friday. This was payback for the Little Green, who suffered a 72-57 loss the last time these two teams met.

With the victory, Manchester Central broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6. As for Pinkerton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Manchester Central will square off against Bishop Guertin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Guertin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Manchester Central likes a good challenge. As for Pinkerton, they will take on Keene at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keene will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Pinkerton surely won't give up without a fight.
